In Emily F. Drew's 1937 paper titled A Century of C. Drew & Company, she wrote: "Some of you heard my father [Charles H. Drew] give his memories of the years spent with C. Drew & Company, and I shall quote occasionally from his words, which I wrote out for him and have kept."
This passage seems to suggest that Charles H. Drew gave a talk previous to the time Emily wrote her paper, perhaps presented at a meeting of the Jones River Village Club. Is this inference correct?; if so what was the date of the talk?
