The following information is from:

"Crucible Tool Steel, Tempered and Full Polished" (per catalogue No. 36)

"Alloy Steel, Tempered and Full Polished." (per catalogue No. 37)

"In the design and manufacture of this tool we have combined as far as practical the thinness of the putty knife, the cutting qualities of the wood chisels and the toughness of the cold chisel resulting in a very superior tool for Electricians, Carpenters, and Plumbers. Due to its extreme thinness it permits cutting the beads so as to remove hardwood floor boards and replace them without marring the edges. Packed half doz. and one doz. per box." (per catalogue No. 36, 37)

Upon request we will furnish without charge, a neat counter display card for this tool and also small leaflets for use in mailing lists." (per catalogue No. 36)

"Special alloy steel. For cutting nails." (per catalogue: May 1, 1954)

"Alloy steel . . . Electricians or Tongue Chisels. . . . This tool is very thin and strong -- it combines the thinness of a putty knife, toughness of a cold chisel and cutting qualities of a wood chisel. Used to cut beads in hardwood floors, for prying up stuck windows, cutting nails, etc." (per catalogues: No. 59 and 63)

"Electrician's Chisel . . . This handsome tool has an extra-wide 2-3/4" blade, ground to a fine edge, and beautifully polished. Its convenient length and thin blade makes this a popular tool ideal for cutting in switch boxes and other electrical fixtures." (per catalogue: June 1968)
