This type of tool was evidently discontinued before catalogue No. 59 was published in 1959.

Carpenters Nut Augers:

Used for drilling holes in wood. C. Drew augers were T-shaped, with the metal component representing the stand of the "T" and the wooden handle representing the crossbar.

Catalogue listing:

"Made the same as [boom augers] except end of shank is forged with square taper and threaded for nut."

It is not clear from descriptions as to whether or not handles were included when shipped.
