This type of tool was evidently discontinued before catalogue No. 59 was published in 1959.

Hoop Drivers:

Used by coopers to drive metal hoops around wooden barrels.

Caveat:

It is assumed that when tools have corresponding descriptions in different C. DREW catalogues, that they will also have the same dimensions and weights. This assumption may not always be correct.

"Crucible Tool Steel, Tembered Both Ends." (per catalogue No. 36)

"Prices are for the DREW Pattern with all black finish. The HAWKINS Pattern, which has a more gradual taper to the flat pean can be made to order in the 1 lb, 1-1/4 lb. and 1-1/2 lb. sizes at a 10% higher price." (per catalogue No. 36)
